St. Josaphat Church is hosting its 12th annual “Ukrainian Summer Festival Sunday in February” from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Sunday, Feb. 3, in Irondequoit.
St. Josaphat Church’s 12th annual “Ukrainian Summer Festival Sunday in February” will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Sunday, Feb. 3, in the school cafeteria, 940 E. Ridge Road, Irondequoit.
The Ukrainian Food Festival menu of varenyky, holubsti, Ukrainian sausage, kapusta, and the "famous" festival borshch will be available for eat-in or takeout. Ukrainian combination plates will be $10. A la carte items may also be purchased.
The site is handicapped accessible.
"With Super Bowl Sunday hours away, this is a chance to stock up on some unique snack items," said festival kitchen coordinator George Hanushevsky.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the St. Josaphat Kitchen Equipment Fund.
