A fly-tying demonstration and casting clinic will take place from 9 a.m. to noon March 9 at the Fish Hatchery Powder Mills Park, 115 Park Road, Pittsford.
The event will feature fly-tying demonstrations and information sessions about the fish currently being raised at the hatchery. Members of the fly-fishing group Upstate Fly Fishers, Inc will also be on-hand to answer questions and help visitors improve their fly-tying and casting technique. This event is free and open to the public, however, registration is requested.
