Six of the eight players from the Rochester Knighthawks and Philadelphia Wings who were involved with a fight during the Jan. 14 season-opening game have been hit with one-game misconduct penalties by the National Lacrosse League.
Travis Hill, Kyle Laverty and Pat McCready were the penalized players for the Knighthawks. David Brock, Paul Dawson and Jordan Sealock were given the same punishment for the Wings.
The other players two involved in the fight, Rochester goalie Jake Henhawk and Philadelphia goalie Kurtis Wagar, were each hit with two-game misconduct penalties.
If a player receives three misconduct penalties in a season, he will get a one-game suspension.
