On the board of education, two seats were filled by John Piper and Barbara Babiarz. Piper, a challenger, unseated Barbara McKinley with 1,335 votes. Babiarz yielded 1,316, McKinley had 1,276 and challenger Kimberly Graham brought in 829 votes.
The bus preposition also passed with 1,568 votes for and 1,053 votes against.
