Sen. Nozzolio ranked as 'pro-jobs supporter' by Business Council

The Business Council of New York State has recognized State Sen. Mike Nozzolio as one of the top pro-jobs supporters in the state legislature as part of its 2011 Voters' Guide.
Sen. Nozzolio was recognized by the Business Council for working to adopt a number of pro-job growth measures and reforms including:
  • A new property tax cap which will limit property tax increases to 2 percent or less.
  • A reduction of Medicaid spending by $2.8 billion and a cap on future Medicaid expenditures.
  • Recharge N.Y., a permanent program to reduce energy costs and taxes or small businesses and manufacturers.
  • Enhancements to the Excelsior Jobs Program to expand tax credits for the creation of new private sector jobs.
