Rochester Museum and Science Center, 657 East Ave., will offer opportunities for guests to explore the science of fermentation with 30 food, craft beer, wine and spirit vendors at “Uncorked & On Tap” from 6 to 10 p.m. March 24.
Attendees will gain insights into the science of wine, beer, food and spirits through educational seminars detailing mixology, viticulture, brewing and distilling. Expert presenters will include Elle Andrews, sommelier and general manager of Flight Wine Bar; Holly Howell, certified wine specialist and sommelier; and Luc Thiers, brand ambassador for Black Button Distilling.
The Uptown Groove will perform. The event is for ages 21 and older.
Tickets cost $55 for RMSC members and $65 for the general public. Admission includes a tasting glass, a tote bag and access to seminars. VIP tickets include a champagne welcome, access to VIP seminars and an additional tote bag for $75.
