Rochester area businesses are invited to participate in a three-day course providing full certification for employees who work with or transport hazardous or dangerous materials.
The training, sponsored by the Rochester Transportation Council, will run from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 6 through March 8 at the Rochester Business Alliance, at 150 State St., Suite 400, in Rochester. The first session will focus on Chapter 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Domestic HazMat training and certification." The March 7 session will focus on International Air HazMat training and certification, and the March 8 class is about International Ocean HazMat training and certification.
The cost of the class is $200 per session for transportation council members, $250 for others. The fee includes continental breakfast and lunch.
