The Fish Hatchery at Powder Mills Park is hosting a free fly-tying demonstration and casting clinic from 9 a.m. to noon March 10.
The event is open to the public and features a special technique for casting fly rods by hatchery supporter and expert angler Joe Triolo. He has been teaching this technique for the past nine years.
Hatchery staff will be on hand to teach visitors about the fish being raised at the hatchery.
Reservations are required for the event.
