The Rochester Philatelic Association is sponsoring a "Design-a-Stamp" competition for Monroe County students in grades three through 12.

The contest is held in conjunction with the group's annual ROPEX National Stamp Show in May.

Students must prepare a stamp image in any media form using the 8-by-11-inch stamp template.

The subject of the design is not limited, but it must contain the word "Forever" for the denomination and USA for the country of origin.

Entries must be received by April 15, with the entry form signed by a parent or guardian.

For more information or an entry form, visit www.rpastamps.org.
