The New York Grand Lodge Foundation of the Order Sons of Italy in America has announced its 2012 scholarship program.
Undergraduate and graduate awards will both be available. Applicants for the awards must be Italian-Americans and residents of New York state.
This year, 121 scholarships and six grants are being offered by the foundation. The scholarship program has historically given a total of nearly $1 million in awards to students throughout the state.
Applications are due March 31. Winners of the awards will be announced June 24 at Rockland Community College.
