Family First Federal Credit Union has announced a merger with Henrietta Family Credit Union.
The merged credit unions will retain the Family First Federal Credit Union name in the agreement, which was finalized Jan. 1.
Family First now offers its nearly 12,000 members four locations to choose from: in Penfield (2520 Browncroft Blvd.), Perinton (6800 Pittsford Palmyra Road, Suite 150, in Fairport), Webster (850 Ridge Road) and Henrietta (1225 Jefferson Road).
Henrietta Federal Credit Union members will now benefit from an array of comprehensive financial services.
Family First FCU CEO Christine Peters said in a press release, "This merger brings together two organizations with a similar, member-focused philosophy and dedication to the communities we serve. With the added location, the merger allows us to serve a larger portion of our membership area, affords our members more convenience, and offers HFCU members a broader array of services with the same great personal service they love and expect."
Family First was founded in 1969 as a credit union for the Penfield Central School District. The credit union currently serves people living, working and attending school in Brighton, Henrietta, Irondequoit, Macedon, Mendon, Ontario, Penfield, Perinton, Pittsford, East Rochester, Rochester, Rush, Walworth and Webster.
