Both Penfield Rotary and Shepherd Home are holding fundraising this weekend. I love both these organizations and all the great things they do for Penfield. Definitely check them out if you can.
Friday through Sunday (March 18-20) Shepherd Home will be holding their annual plant sale. This often has a lot of perennials you don’t see for sale at other places, so it’s a great place to get something new for the garden that you haven’t tried before.
The plant sale will be held at Shepherd Home, located at 1959 Penfeild Road (corner of Whalen and Five Mile Line). Hours for the plant sale are Friday, May 18 from 4-6 p.m., Saturday, May 19, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Sunday, May 20 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Also going on this weekend and next weekend is Penfield Rotary’s first ever Hole in One Tournament at Harris-Whalen Park. The Penfield Rotary website has great information about the Tournament and how people can play. Click on www.penfieldrotary.org for all the details.
Have a great weekend!
