The NCAA hammer is about to come down on Penn State University in the wake of the Jerry Sandusky sex scandal, according to several reports.
The announcement is expected to come at 9 a.m.
The sanctions will be “unprecedented,” according to a high-ranking NCAA official who TOLD CBS News: “I’ve never seen anything like it.”
ESPN is REPORTING that the so-called death penalty will not be imposed. That would have suspended Penn State’s football program for at least a year.
