Why? To him, it all comes down to quality and control. He said that although cheap and easily accessible, falling into the habit of posting low-quality blurb on the web is not the quickest way to win new customers.
Regarded by many as the best Chinese restaurant in town, Hong Wah has been listed in the annual Top 100 Chinese Restaurant in the U.S. for the fourth year in a row.
Hong Wah was listed in the overall excellence in Chinese cuisine category for 2011. In previous years, it was awarded in other categories including Best Healthy Menu, and Local Favorite.
Over the holiday break, one of Penfield's karate academies, Martial Arts America, closed down for a week to renovate their dojo and improve their look.
With a brand new paint job inside their dojo on Penfield Road, co-owner and instructor Kelly Williams has reopened the dojo to resume instruction. Williams said the building’s new look it look bigger and brighter.
The Chinese restaurant has a 21--year tradition in the Webster-Penfield area.
